Uses of  MACPEE 25 mg Tablet

MACPEE , Bethanichol; to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties, including Urinary retention.

How it Work

To treat urinary retention resulting from general anesthetic, diabetic neuropathy of the bladder, or a side effect of antidepressants; or to treat gastrointestinal lack of muscular tone. The muscarinic receptors in the bladder and gastrointestinal tract stimulate contraction of the bladder and therefore expulsion of urine, and increase gastrointestinal motility, respectively. So Bethanechol is a choice for the treatment of these disorders only after mechanical obstruction is cancel as a possible cause. Hence it helps easy passage of urine.

Common Side Effects

Moreover, Some common side effects are sweating, nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
