LIPICURE TG Tablet
Uses of LIPICURE TG Tablet
LIPICURE TG, ( Atorvastatin ) primarily as a lipid-lowering agent and for prevention of events associated with cardiovascular disease. Hence lowers the cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Also for the increase in LDL level in blood.
( fenofibrate ) is a drug that lowers plasma cholesterol levels. Hence Either It reduces levels of certain lipids in people with primary hyperlipidemia, alone Or in combination with Ezetimibe. It reduces cholesterol levels in people at risk of cardiovascular disease. Like other fibrates, it reduces both low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels, as well as increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels and reducing triglyceride levels.
How it Work
Atorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme found in liver tissue that plays a key role in the production of cholesterol in the body. Hence it lowers ( LDL ) bad cholesterol and triglycerides and ( HDL ) raise good cholesterol.
Fenofibrate enhances catabolism of triglyceride-rich particles and reduced secretion of VLDL underlie the hypotriglyceridemic effect of fibrates, Hence lowering levels of circulating cholesterol.
