Uses of  CLONEON 150 mcg Injection

CLONEON, (Clonidine ) for the treatment of hypertension. It may be used alone or in combination with other anti hypertensive agents High blood pressure ( hypertension ), and withdrawal (from either alcohol, opioids, or smoking).

How it Work 

Clonidine,  treats high blood pressure by stimulating α2 receptors in the brain, which decreases peripheral vascular resistance, hence lowering blood pressure. So Its classification as a centrally acting α2 adrenergic agonist and imidazoline receptor agonist.

Common Side Effects

Common side effects include Headache, Nausea, chest pain, fatigue, dizziness, low blood pressure and rashes.
