DUPHASTON, (Dydrogesterone ) Menstrual disorders, Infertility due to luteal insufficiency, Miscarriage, Endometriosis, Premenstrual syndrome, Hormone replacement therapy, Breast disorders.It is orally active at low dosages. Hence, It has selective progestogenic properties without any traditional hormonal activity
How it Work
In women, Dydrogesterone has selective progestational activity and does not inhibit ovulation. while natural progesterone is less selective, existing in different conformations that more easily bind to different receptors. As a consequence of its better bioavailability and the progestational activity of its main metabolites . Hence greater choice for gynecological conditions related to a wide variety of progesterone deficiencies in pregnant women.

Common side effects include nausea, weight gain, headache, fatigue, weight gain, menstrual disorders, breast pain, migraines.
